Spiritual Preparation for the Fall Feasts

Scott D. Winnail Published: August 30th, 2019

Do God’s yearly festivals—especially the Fall Holy Days—sometimes sneak up on us physically or even spiritually? In this sermon, Dr. Scott Winnail asks the question, “Does God expect us to be excited about attending the Holy Days?” He then discusses four ways to take action before and during the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, the Feast of Tabernacles, and the Last Great Day in order to be ready to worship as God intends and to benefit the most from these observances. Through fruitful service, prayerful meditation, generosity, and intense spiritual focus, the distractions of day-to-day life and the trials of this world can be overcome as you prepare for a more fulfilling Fall festival season.
