Weekly Update

November 6th, 2003

Pleasant greetings everyone,

Autumn is truly a gorgeous time in the Charlotte area. Cool, crisp fall days, and the turning of the leaves, are beautiful and invigorating treats for us all. It helps balance out the heat and humidity of July and August!

CHURCH ADMINISTRATION

We will run the following activity announcements one more week in the update, so please keep this information handy for later reference, should someone need these details.

Living 4 Tomorrow—A Time 4 Young Singles

Living Church of God young adults are invited to attend Living 4 Tomorrow – A Time 4 Young Singles in beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. The format will be similar to the one held in Michigan this past summer, but new classes are planned on subjects covering Christian Leadership, Family Matters, Creating a Culture of Purity, and Doctrines of the Church. Recreational activities will include a dance, team activities, and plenty of "fellowship time." The fee of US $155 covers the cost of all lodging, food, and activities. Space is limited, so get your application in early.

Arrival day is Wednesday, December 31, with a get acquainted dinner scheduled for that evening. Departure date is Sunday morning, January 4. Applications can be found at the following web site: www.youth-web.org or you may request an application from Gerald Weston by calling 905-814-1103 or by e-mail at: [email protected]. Apply soon, as openings are expected to fill up quickly and airline tickets can be expensive if you wait too long.

COMMENTS

Mr. Meredith has written a semi-annual letter, which is in the process of being mailed out right now. This is a major work project because our mailing list is pushing 200,000! Steady growth in the Work is taking place in many other areas as well. For instance, the final attendance figures are now in for the Feast of Tabernacles 2003. We had a 2.92% increase in total Feast attendance around the world this year over last, in the Living Church of God. Even more encouraging is the 7.24% increase at the US Feast sites. Although, in some ways, we are just now "picking up steam" in doing God's Work, as you can see, much is already being accomplished as we try to follow where Christ leads. Thank you for your wholehearted part in this mission we have all been given to do.

Have a joyous Sabbath day!
