Dear Brethren and Co-Workers with Christ,

Greetings from Charlotte, NC! Wow! What a month this has been, as well as the past two months! I am so thankful you are able to read this letter, because many areas here in America are suffering incredible disasters. Natural disasters are striking across our beloved country at an intensity I have never seen. Yes, I’ve seen plenty of Mississippi floods, but this year’s Mississippi flood is one of the worst if not the worst in our national history. And on May 22, at 5:41 p.m., my birthplace, Joplin, Missouri, was hit by one of the most horrendous, destructive and deadliest EF5 tornadoes in American history. God spared virtually all our members and co-workers in the Joplin area. Psalm 91 comes to my mind, where God promises: “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways” (vv. 9-11). Even one of our supporters, who lives just one block from the center of the tornado’s destructive path in Joplin, had his life and house spared, with only minor damage to his house. The tornado skipped over his home—a miraculous sight to see, especially considering that more than 8,000 homes were utterly destroyed or heavily damaged. Yes, all of us have a lot for which to be thankful!

We are continuing to see and experience positive growth in this Work! To date, our membership has been blessed by hundreds of baptisms in 72 countries around the world, and our membership is up a solid 13 percent over a year ago, and our list of co-workers worldwide has grown 14 percent above a year ago. I truly thank our God in heaven for His great blessings! I believe He has moved you to join with us in this end-time Work, and I certainly thank you for your part!

Last month we began airing the Tomorrow’s World telecast on KCAL-TV in Los Angeles—a popular TV station that reaches more than six million homes. Thanks to KCAL’s broadcast coverage, this week our TV response in Los Angeles surpassed New York, the number-one TV market in the United States, which is encouraging.

The Tomorrow’s World television program is sending a powerful witness to millions of homes around the world. Just these past two weekends we began airing on a new TV station in Hong Kong, China, and it was a great start. With our combined prayers, this TV station has the potential to make a significant impact in that area of the world. This is the very first time for this Work of God to be able to broadcast in China, and we look forward to God blessing this new door for the Church, and your prayers are most appreciated! This is not the work of man.

In the past few weeks you should have received my latest subscriber letter that I send to all Tomorrow’s World magazine subscribers twice a year. Tens of thousands are responding, asking for the DVD about the Antichrist and the soon-coming “Spirit Wars.” This is most encouraging! Since you are a member or co-worker, I have arranged to have the DVD mailed to you automatically; you do not need to make a special request for it.

We are experiencing our biggest year yet for the television program. And we hope with your prayers and support, we can acquire more TV time around the world. Time is short. Thanks for your help! May God bless you abundantly for your support.

Dear friends, we who know the Truth have a special responsibility to proclaim Christ’s message to the whole world! Jesus Himself commanded His followers, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned” (Mark 16:15-16). In this Work of the living Jesus Christ, we are doing all in our power to get Jesus Christ’s true message to the entire world. Most of you realize that it is not a message solely about the “person” of Christ. Though including much about Christ, it emphasizes the Good News of the coming “Kingdom of God” as Jesus Himself preached (Mark 1:14). Remember, spreading this powerful message about the coming, world-ruling Government of God based on God’s laws was Jesus’ primary mission in life. And if He lives His life within us, this “mission” should also be ours! Jesus Himself stated, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work” (John 4:34). The living Christ will certainly be with us, aiding us, guiding us and blessing us if we do this. Most of you realize this, or you would not be co-workers in this growing Work.

It does take faith and courage to give oneself to God and to obey our Creator no matter what. So many of the “religious” people in Jesus’ day simply did not have the intestinal fortitude to do that. They just “went along” with the crowd and were not willing to stand up against the majority. Even though many of the religious leaders “believed in Him,” they did not confess Jesus Christ by their mouths or by their actions, “for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God” (John 12:42-43).

As we preach the specific prophecies of the soon-coming downfall of America and the British-descended peoples, we will be persecuted. Our message will not be “popular.” But we will know that the great God who gives us life and breath will be watching over us, guiding us and—in the end—blessing us in powerful ways. And I will pray that we will soon be ready to have part in the resurrection from the dead at the last trump when Christ returns as “King of kings” (Revelation 11:15).

Remember, brethren and friends, God has made every one of us—male or female, black or white, brown or yellow—in His image. He gives us the sunshine and the rain, the food we eat and the air we breathe. He brings challenges before us and guides us to the degree that we seek His will. Truly, He is fashioning and molding us to become like He is. For our Creator wants us to be His full Sons and to reflect His nature and His mind in all that we think, say and do.

Ancient King David was inspired by God to tell us this, “The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. From the place of His dwelling He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth; He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works” (Psalm 33:13-15). For God intends that all of us who are willing become His full Sons—interacting with Him and with Christ, and sharing eternity with Them in the coming Kingdom or Family of God soon to be set up on this earth under Jesus Christ. This is the magnificent goal for which we all strive. May God help each of you to become excited about the real purpose for your life. May you be excited and enthusiastic to give of yourself in every way you can—each according to his means—in preparing the way for this coming blessed Kingdom soon to be set up here on earth. May God give you the understanding, the faith and the courage to act on the Truth and fulfill the purpose for which you have been created.

With Christian love,

Roderick C. Meredith
