Roderick C. Meredith (1930-2017)

Dear Brethren and Co-Workers with Christ,

Greetings from Charlotte, NC! The “pieces” of the prophetic puzzle are all coming together! May God help all of us to see what is happening—slowly but surely—right before our eyes!

As most of you know, this Work of the living Christ has been warning our people for many years about the specific biblical prophecies which describe in some detail what is just ahead for the American and British-descended peoples of Canada, Britain, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. Many of those prophecies have already started to take place! Now, the various “pieces” of the biblically prophesied scenario are coming into sharp focus. The “mainstream” ministers of this world frankly just don’t “get it.” They do not recognize our national identity and most of them almost totally neglect that crucial one-fourth of God’s Word which is prophetic.

But you need to know! You need to understand.

In the famous Olivet Prophecy in Matthew 24, Jesus described an entire wave of many false preachers (v. 5). Then, He described the end-time build up of “wars and rumors of war”—a description of the wars and factional fighting going on in parts of Africa, the Middle East and elsewhere right now. Then, Jesus predicted that there would come “famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places” (v. 7).

Again, as most of you long-time readers know, God predicted throughout the inspired Old Testament prophecies that the end-time descendants of the so-called “Lost Ten Tribes” would suffer these things—“in spades,” as we say! In a dual prophecy directly applicable to our people today, God told the “House of Israel”—modern Britain and America—“‘I also withheld rain from you, when there were still three months to the harvest. I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, and where it did not rain the part withered. So two or three cities wandered to another city to drink water, but they were not satisfied; yet you have not returned to Me,’ says the Lord. ‘I blasted you with blight and mildew. When your gardens increased, your vineyards, your fig trees, and your olive trees, the locust devoured them; yet you have not returned to Me,’ says the Lord.” (Amos 4:7-9).

So we, today, will be experiencing conditions of alternate drought and floods—the latter perhaps caused by hurricanes. This will lead to severe famine—food rationing, and eventually widespread starvation!

The preliminary beginnings of these very conditions now appear to be underway! The USA Today newspaper just reported on this in a major article entitled, “A drought for the ages.” This shocking article states, “Drought, a fixture in much of the West for nearly a decade, now covers more than one-third of the continental USA. And it’s spreading. As summer starts, half the nation is either abnormally dry or in outright drought from prolonged lack of rain that could lead to water shortages, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor, a weekly index of conditions. Welcome rainfall last weekend from Tropical Storm Barry brought short-term relief to parts of the fire-scorched Southeast. But up to 50 inches of rain is needed to end the drought there, and this is the driest spring in the Southeast since record-keeping began in 1895, according to the National Climatic Data Center. California and Nevada just recorded their driest June-to-May period since 1924, and a lack of rain in the West could make this an especially risky summer for wildfires” (June 8, 2007).

And from another major “bread basket” of the world, we read the following headline, “Australia experiencing worst drought in 1,000 years” (Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Nov. 7, 2006). This horrifying drought is still continuing in many areas—though a few areas have recently experienced powerful thunderstorms which may have done more harm than good as this has washed away the topsoil which has become more vulnerable because of the drought conditions! As The Australian newspaper just reported, “The rain that has drenched eastern Australia this week is unlikely to ease suburban water restrictions or bring relief for farmers facing zero water allocations for the coming year. Snow will fall in the NSW alps for the opening of the ski season this weekend, but heavy rain is unlikely to reach the southern tablelands or Canberra, according to forecasters…. Queensland households are on tough level-five water restrictions prohibiting sprinklers, hosing gardens and washing cars. In July, towns in the Murray-Darling Basin could be banned from outside water use. Prime Minister John Howard warned Murray-Darling Basin farmers in April they would receive no water allocations for the coming year unless substantial rain fell. Experts believe the downpours will not be enough to change the prognosis for farmers who rely on water from the basin” (June 9, 2007).

Back in the United States, we are in the midst of an exceedingly acrimonious debate in our Congress about the absolutely massive immigration of illegal aliens into this country. Noted talk show host and former Presidential candidate Pat Buchanan has written a provocative book entitled, State of Emergency. He writes, “This is not immigration as America knew it, when men and women made a conscious choice to turn their backs on their native land and cross the ocean to become Americans. This is an invasion, the greatest invasion in history. Nothing of this magnitude has ever happened in so short a span of time. There are 36 million immigrants and their children in the United States today, almost as many as came to America between Jamestown in 1607 and the Kennedy election of 1960. Nearly 90 percent of all immigrants now come from continents and countries whose peoples have never been assimilated fully into any Western country…. How many spies and saboteurs have been sent into our country as sleeper agents? How many Al Qaeda are here awaiting orders to bomb subways and malls or assassinate our leaders? We have no idea. Neither does the Department of Homeland Security. Border security is homeland security. But America has lost control of her borders and, as Ronald Reagan said, a country that can’t control its borders isn’t really a country anymore” (pp. 5, 14).

And as an introductory note before his own writing begins, Buchanan gives us this very thoughtful quote from one of America’s great presidents, Teddy Roosevelt, “The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of this continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities.”

Why are all these problems arising right now? Most of us who believe in the God of the Bible understand! For we as a nation are turning away from the God of the Bible. We are breaking and smashing His laws with increasing impunity! And so the God who gave us our power is now taking it away to humble us and help our peoples to wake up. In what is an end-time prophecy directly for our people, the eternal God warns, “The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower. He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail. Moreover all these curses shall come upon you and pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you” (Deut. 28:43-45).

Another major issue to consider is the enormous weakening of our national power and prestige in the world. A few days ago, the Charlotte Observer headlined, “‘Surge’ failing to stem fighting” (June 9, 2007). This front page article continued, “Three months after additional U.S.troops began pouring into Baghdad in the most recent effort to staunch violence in Iraq’s capital, military observers are fretting that the same problems that torpedoed last summer’s Baghdad security plan are cropping up again. Violence is on the rise, Iraqi troops aren’t showing up to secure neighborhoods, U.S. troops are having to revisit areas they had already cleared, and Iraq’s politicians haven’t met any benchmarks.”

As you may know, throughout the television news and magazines and newspapers both here and overseas are increasingly cryptic comments about how “weak” our President is becoming, how other nations increasingly resent America’s seeming arrogance and militarism—and, how American military forces are being “stretched too thin” and would not be able to handle a full-scale conflict with Iran or North Korea, etc.

What is going on?

Again, as we have stated many times, the great God who guides the rise and fall of nations is in the process of bringing down the United States—unless we truly repent! My brethren, the build-up to the final Great Tribulation is exciting to “watch” in one sense. But, in another very personal way, it is very sad to watch our beloved United States of America being brought down, and our wonderful British and Commonwealth allies also becoming increasingly weakened as China and India strengthen themselves and the nations of Continental Europe organize themselves into the final superpower which God describes in Revelation 17. For our British friends and brothers, especially, I am sure it is poignant to realize that the once powerful British Empire is no more. That the vital “sea gates” once controlled by Britain and America are all gone except for Gibraltar and the Falkland Islands. That the once powerful influence of the Anglo-Saxon peoples all over the world is slowly but surely vanishing!

The great God who gives us life and breath told our forefathers, “But if you do not obey Me, and do not observe all these commandments, and if you despise My statutes, or if your soul abhors My judgments, so that you do not perform all My commandments, but break My covenant, I also will do this to you: I will even appoint terror over you, wasting disease and fever which shall consume the eyes and cause sorrow of heart. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it…. And after all this, if you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. I will break the pride of your power” (Lev. 26:14-16, 18-19).

Dear brethren and co-workers, please read this entire passage in Leviticus very carefully and then “watch” to see it fulfilled on our peoples over the next several years unless we are brought to a type of national repentance which we have never before experienced!

However, you, dear brethren, are having your minds and hearts opened to really understand the awesome purpose which the Eternal God is working out among men and nations. You have somehow been brought into direct contact with the vital Work which God has raised up to proclaim His warning message to the American and British-descended peoples and also to proclaim—as a “witness” (Matt. 24:14)—the wonderful Good News of the soon coming Government of God over the entire world!

Each of you can have a special part in helping proclaim Christ’s true message to increasing millions of people all over this earth. Through your fervent prayers and through your faithful tithes and offerings, you can demonstrate to God that His Kingdom, His purpose, is paramount in your own life! As Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matt. 6:21).

As the aforementioned prophetic events and others speed up and affect our very lives, may God inspire each of us to become “on fire” in our zeal to honor Him, to do His Work, and to enthusiastically prepare for His Kingdom. As we enter the summer “doldrums,” I pray that God will inspire all of you who understand to go “above and beyond” in backing His very Work at this time.

With Christian love,

Roderick C. Meredith
