CERRO DE PASCO UPDATE

The project of relocating the families of the Cerro de Pasco area to a better environment in the Tingo Maria area is moving forward, however with some changes. The land in Tingo Maria has been purchased with a donation from a Bolivian Church member; however, some of the older family members have decided to remain in their current house in Cerro de Pasco where they have lived for so long. We are developing a revised plan to move the seven families with children from their overcrowded and polluted situation in Cerro de Pasco to the Tingo Maria area, and we believe that we have sufficient funds to take care of that move. So we have closed down the Cerro de Pasco donation webpages until further notice, and all money donated for this effort will be used to help with this relocation. We and the families of Cerro de Pasco are most appreciative for the love and generosity shown by so many people for the families!
